The umbrella body of Nigerian muslims, the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), has responded to the current hijab controversy rocking the Nigerian Law School. In a statement sent to PREMIUM TIMES on Tuesday morning, the Deputy Secretary General of the organisation, Salisu Shehu, a professor, accused the Nigerian Law School of lawlessness and Islamophobia. The group threatened nationwide protest and a fierce legal action should the law school fail to rescind its decision not to call the affected graduate, Firdaus Amosa, to the bar. “There is no doubt that Abdulsalam Firdaos Amosa has been victimized, humiliated and traumatised by the Nigerian Law School, the Body of Benchers and the Council for Legal Education on account of her faith,” the statement said. “She has been denied of rightfully joining her professional colleagues just because of her religion. True love: The love of a Mother Someone asked me the definition of true love and my answer was this,  "my Mother", yeah right, my mum is the definition of true love and I believe that most mothers out there are the same also. A mother goes through a lot just for her child, she doesn't care about all she has to face because of her children.... All she knows is that she has to face it. We have Mothers in the world today that are ready to give their lives for their children. A mother's love for a child can't be compared to any other kind of love on earth. There's a time in life when you have this best friend and all you ever want is for him or her to look at you the way he looks at others. I once had a best friend that I was so in love with that I wished he would just look at me the way he looked at other girls. He would talk to me about the other girls he had crush on and how beautiful they looked but he won't even mistakenly say anything about me. Chelsea was defeated today by West Ham club thanks to Marko Arnautovic’s sixth minute goal.  The goal of the player, Marko was all that West Ham needed to defeat Premier League champion, Chelsea on Saturday. A lovely move and a really tidy finish from Marko Arnautovic, who drops a shoulder in the box, veers past Cesar Azpilicueta, and fires into the corner after a neat exchange with Manuel Lanzini on the edge. What a lovely goal! I'm sure the West Ham fans are celebrating right now, however, I can't say the same for the Chelsea fans. 

 T he National Youth Service corps on Friday launched a job website for corps members. This was disclosed by NYSC Director General, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, while speaking at a launch held in Lagos. According to him, the portal is to provide job opportunities for corps members. He said, “The National Youth Service Corps has launched a job portal that would enhance job seeking opportunities for corps members and also make them available for prospective employers. “The portal would serve as a pool for employers searching for suitable candidates and also provide a means of verification of credentials. ” The Management of National Youth Service Corps have also established Zonal lntegrated Skill Centres in six different locations across the country aimed at entrenching entrepreneurship among Corps Members. He was so pleased with her dance that he told her to ask him for anything she desired, even to the half of his kingdom.That was an outbreak of favour as a result of her dance.
