Exercising the mind
One of the major ways to improve your mental ability is to keep the mind active and this can be achieved by exercising the mind. Sometimes we let our mind remain passive because we don’t have any major exam or task before us. This would only decrease the mental capability of a person. We have brilliant children in the world today that are brilliant because they exercised their minds daily. As an adult, you also have to exercise your mind too. The question is : how do I exercise my mind?
The answer to this question lies in MR. WELTS
Memorize: one major way to exercise the mind is to memorize. You can play memory games on your phones and pc to keep your mind active. You could decide to memorize your mobile number, account number, and so on. Keeping things in your memory would keep your mind active.
Read: we can‘t overemphasize the importance of reading in this life. Reading also helps to keep your brain working hence it keeps the mind active. Reading would also give you a range of things that you can memorize. However, one has to read the right things.
Write: writing has helped some people to improve themselves. Writing keeps the mind busy because the brain is the one sending signals to the hands hence, the brain becomes active. You could write anything that pops into your head, your diary or you could just write articles. You could even write the summary of all you have read and memorize in a day.
Engage: engage yourself in physical activities like exercise, outdoor and indoor games, cleaning or sorting things out in the house. Just keep yourself busy, this would help to exercise the mind too.
Learn: learning is one of the key strengths of a successful man or woman. Learn from everything and everyone you can learn from. Take your phone and read articles that you could learn from, you could enroll in an online training that would help you to learn. Just learn the right things.
Talk: talking is another way to exercise the mind. As good as it is to be quiet to learn, it is also good to talk. Talking doesn’t mean saying irrelevant things but teaching someone, training someone, advising someone or whatever. Though, talking exercises the mind, it is important to note that one must mind what he or she says and you mustn’t talk too much or talk for talking sake.
Sleep: this is very important because the mind requires rest so that it would not break down. Overworking yourself  could lead to tiredness, fatigue and other things. Sleep is good for the body, relax and rest when you can and when you have to, do not deny your body of the necessary sleep. It refreshes the mind.
