2019 GOALS

2019 goals

Every New Year, a lot of people make lists of all the things that they would love to do in the year and those things they would not want to do.
Some call it resolutions, goals and other names. However, not everyone is able to fulfill or accomplish even half of these set goals. The reason is setting goals is easier than accomplishing goals itself.

The question is how do I set my goals and accomplish these goals?
While some cannot set goals because they believe in chances, we have some that can set goals but are not very good in living up to it.

I remember in the beginning of year 2016, I set a lot of goals for myself but I was not able to accomplish all of it by the time the year was over and when I sat down, I discovered that accomplishment of goals is more than just writing these goals. The principles that would be listed below would help you to set and accomplish your goals for year 2019.

  • You don’t have to set goals that you don’t have passion for. Set goals that you have passion for, this is what would drive you to accomplish these goals. If you do not have the passion to have a school before the end of the year, then it is better you don’t add it to your goals. The reason is once you set goals you are not passionate about, nothing drives you to fulfill them and when you do not accomplish one of your goals, it reduces the drive to even set goals in future.

  • Do not overburden yourself with a lot of goals, goals are divided into long term and short term. However, every step you take has a part to play in accomplishing your goals. You don’t have to make a list of 20 goals because you feel it has to be much. Streamline your goals to a particular number of goals that you know and believe you can accomplish yourself.

  • Break your goals down to the simplest form. You have to break down your goals so that you would be able to understand these goals. For example, your goal for year 2019 might be to have a car before the end of the year. The goal sounds so simple but it is not in the simplest form.

You need to include the following:

How : how do you want to accomplish the goal? How do you want to buy the car?

When: this is the time frame. When exactly do you intend to buy the car? Is it going to be in a month or 2 m months or 3 months and so on?

Why: why do you need the car? This is why you need to write goals that you have passion for. A goal without a reason is not a realistic goal.

Where: where do you intend to buy the car?

What: what kind of car do you want to have?

Depending on your goal, you might need to add some other things to it. So your goal is now:

I intend to save a quarter of my salary for each month for the next three months to buy a Lexus jeep car in 3 months at buy and buy cars because I need it for my transport business.

The goal is now in its simplest form……………

Put your goals down on a paper or diary and on the walls of your heart. Some people forget their goals at a time in their life because they did not write it on the walls of their hearts.

Write it in a diary that you would not toy with, write it on the walls of your heart and meditate on it each day.

Think of your progress in relation to accomplishing it and how you can make up for any regress.

Tell someone and not everyone. Not everyone need to hear your goals, you only need to tell it to those that matter to your goals that is those that would help to accomplish your goals.

The most important is to allow God help you set your goals and accomplish them. Do not place God after you have set your goals, let God be at the beginning while you set your goals.
